Job summary

Xyant Technology in the United States is seeking a Quality Inspector for Aerospace/Aircraft on a 3-month contract. You will perform inspection tasks across incoming goods, assemblies, and first article checks while documenting non-conformances for leadership review.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and cosmetic inspection experience, ability to read engineering drawings, and familiarity with 8D/5 Whys corrective actions. aerospace background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical and cosmetic inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Experience using CMMs, borescopes or interpreting GD&T specs.
• Solid ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and cosmetic inspections.
• Provide quality control for new product introductions.
• Inspect incoming goods, returns and assembly.
• Document non-conformances and report major quality issues.
• Conduct First Article inspection.
