Job summary

Long Wall Company is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain all facilities across El Segundo and Port of Long Beach campuses. You will diagnose, repair, and upgrade building systems, ensuring safety and reliability for mission-critical aerospace infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have strong hands-on skills, experience with CMMS, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Travel between sites is required, with potential weekend work and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of facilities maintenance experience.
• OR 1–2 years of experience with specialized training in repair/troubleshooting (HVAC, air compressors, tool repair, machine maintenance).
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics or facility drawings.
• Experience using CMMS or similar maintenance-tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas across campuses.
• Support maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, and preventive maintenance; basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work as needed.
• Diagnose and fix building system issues, identify root causes, minimize downtime.
• Assist with campus inspections and recommend repairs or upgrades.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for larger projects; respond to emergencies to mitigate risks.
