Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join its Facilities team at the El Segundo campus in California. This on-site role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and building equipment, and handling service requests and preventative maintenance tasks.

You will coordinate with various Facilities departments, read blueprints and drawings, and perform work with minimal supervision to ensure reliable operations and a safe, productive workplace.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Repairs and services mechanical and building equipment.
  • Completes service requests and preventative maintenance works orders.
  • Acquires maintenance bids and performs maintenance walks.
  • Analyzes repair programs; coordinates performance of modifications, installations, and repair work with building contractors and sub-contractors.
  • Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings and specifications in support of work activity.

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join its Facilities organization to support repairs and maintenance. This position conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdown of facilities, machinery and equipment. This position tests, inspects, troubleshoots and repairs machines and equipment. The Facilities Maintenance Technician works closely with various Facilities departments to provide seamless operations, excellent customer service, and a productive work environment. The selected candidate will be required to work full-time on-site at our campus facility in El Segundo, California.

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills. (Min - Max) $25.20 - $37.80 Pay Basis: Hourly
