Job summary

Impulse Space in Redondo Beach is seeking a highly experienced Facilities Technician – Electrical to support operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing and office facilities. You will manage critical electrical infrastructure, troubleshoot equipment issues, install new systems, and back facility expansion projects in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on industrial or commercial electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of 120/208V, 277/480V electrical systems, transformers, breakers, motor controls, and power distribution.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, panel layouts, and construction drawings.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Proficient with electrical testing equipment including multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, and circuit tracers.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and commission facility electrical systems and new equipment.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on electrical distribution systems including lighting and panels.
• Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and modify electrical systems per NEC.
• Maintain maintenance records and CMMS documentation.
• Support facility upgrades, remodels, and expansions with engineers and safety staff.
