Job summary

Long Wall is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain and improve facilities across our El Segundo and Port of Long Beach campuses. You will work independently on projects, ensuring safe and efficient environments to support mission-critical aerospace operations.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, problem-solving, and ability to travel between campuses. Proficiency with CMMS, tools, and safety standards is essential, with weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance and repair.
• OR 1-2 years of experience AND specialized training, direct work experience, or certification in HVAC, air compressors, tool repair, machine maintenance, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or construction.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Long Wall employees to maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas that can function efficiently.
• Support maintenance, infrastructure upgrades and preventative maintenance across buildings including basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Diagnose issues with building systems and equipment, identify root causes, and implement timely solutions to minimize downtime.
• Evaluate campus through inspections and identify areas for repair and upgrade.
• Operate and deliver complete and on-time work assignments via our mobile CMMS software.
• Support external vendors and contractors on larger projects onsite.
• Respond to emergencies such as power outages, leaks, or equipment failures and mitigate risks.
