You will work with cross-functional teams, train others, and ensure documentation and safety practices are followed. A minimum of 3 years welding experience and related certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
  • 3 years welding experience.
  • Intermediate understanding of blueprint and process sheet interpretation.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications; familiar with weld/fusion principles.
  • Expert understanding of weld symbols and schedules; able to pass visual acuity exam.
  • Willingness to obtain department certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform wire welding functions; apply basic TIG welding principles.
  • Set up jigs and fixtures; perform non-structural tack welds.
  • Conduct secondary processing like sand blasting, wire brushing, and grinding.
  • Maintain welding equipment, torches, hoses, cables, and related gear.
  • Comply with NADCAP requirements and quality procedures.
  • Pass workmanship, procedure reviews, and refresher training assessments.
  • Possess ability to work outside home department when needed.
  • Assist in new process development and troubleshoot products.
  • Produce parts according to certification and quality guidelines.
  • Interact with internal/external customers and support teams.
