Job summary

Dayton-Granger, Inc. (DG) in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager with a hands-on engineering background to run the site infrastructure, safety programs, and daily operations.

Lead maintenance, manage budgets, and coordinate capital projects to keep our aerospace manufacturing facility compliant and productive. You will work with production, HR, and leadership to ensure safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced environment, supporting long-term site reliability and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related).
• 5–7 years of facility operations management in regulated manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience overseeing infrastructure systems (HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
• Proven experience supervising maintenance staff and managing external vendors/contractors.
• Strong project management skills including capital improvement planning and execution.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA regulations related to safety, environmental compliance, and fire protection.
• Proficient with MS Office and CMMS software; strong documentation skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility operations across offices and production areas ensuring safety and functionality.
• Lead preventive maintenance for HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate work orders.
• Manage vendors, contractors, and capital projects for infrastructure upgrades.
• Support OSHA, safety programs, and facility audits.
• Collaborate with Production, HR, and leadership to meet operational needs.
• Track facilities budgets, tools, inventory, and timelines.
