Job summary

DAYTON-GRANGER, INC. (DG) in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product quality and process reliability. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations to establish and maintain quality controls and drive corrective actions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing quality, strong analytical skills, and experience with FMEA, SPC, RCCA, and AS9100. This is a full‑time on-site role with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical skills to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data.
Proficiency with quality management software and tools.
Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain quality plans, control plans, inspection plans, and sampling plans for new and existing products.
Lead PFMEA/FMEA activities and implement SPC, process capability studies, and MSA.
Analyze quality data, inspection results, scrap, rework, and trends to identify problems and drive improvements.
Provide hands‑on shop floor support, including Gemba activities and resolution of quality issues.
