Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Aviation, or Machining.
• 5+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Experience with cross-functional groups.
• Flexibility to work on 2nd, 3rd, or alternative work week shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
• Develop and lead strategies to improve on-time delivery, cost efficiency, safety, quality, and productivity through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Determine future staffing needs, develop team capabilities, and conduct performance reviews for subordinates.
• Collaborate with various support functions on new or changing statements of work and communicate effectively with internal customers to expedite the fabrication of details and assemblies.
• Apply process management and improvement techniques, using problem-solving skills and analytical abilities to develop innovative and efficient solutions to fabrication challenges.
• Facilitate work teams, provide training, and interface with internal organizations and external customers for project planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Customer teams to resolve issues and improve performance
• Support employee development through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence
