Job summary

Triumph Engine Control Systems in West Hartford, CT is seeking an Expeditor to support the Planning Group. The role focuses on reviewing production schedules and inventories to determine material needs, expediting movement of materials, and communicating status to teams.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of expediting experience in manufacturing, an Associates’ degree or equivalent, and strong MS Excel skills. The position offers a full-time, on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience expediting background in a manufacturing environment.
• Associates’ Degree or equivalent.
• Detail-oriented with Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• JD Edwards Experience is a plus.
• Must be experienced using MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Expedite movement of material and parts between purchasing, suppliers, receiving, and production areas; communicate with necessary parties to inform them of material status.
• Read production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine material type, quantity, availability, and priority.
• Record, maintain and conduct transactions related to inventory.
• Coordinate with associates to expedite transfer of materials from stock area to production areas.
• May verify materials received, part numbers, and check for discrepancies (damaged or unmarked parts).
