Job summary

The Structures Company is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician in Kinston, NC. This contract position (3 months with potential for extension) involves performing preventative maintenance on industrial machinery, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and supporting plant maintenance operations.

Requires 2–5 years of electro-mechanical experience and a high school diploma. CMMS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with PLC/CNC systems and industrial automation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and tooling.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on CNC/PLC equipment.
• Operate hand and power tools and read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Enter maintenance data into CMMS and order parts as needed.
• Assist with rigging and moving heavy equipment.
