Job summary

AAA-USA Inc. in North Carolina seeks an Equipment Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment, automated gantry systems, CNC machinery, PLC-controlled equipment, tooling, jigs, and fixtures.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose problems, and use a CMMS to enter maintenance data, while following safety, quality, and OSHA standards to support production operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years in industrial or electro‑mechanical maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints.
• Hands‑on with hand and power tools.
• Experience with CNC and/or PLC systems.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery to maximize reliability.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, test, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Follow preventive maintenance plans and schedules.
• Diagnose problems and determine repairs to prevent downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics and diagrams.
• Maintain PLC- and CNC-controlled equipment.
• Work with automated manufacturing equipment, including gantry systems.
• Disassemble, repair, reassemble, and install equipment.
• Move and install heavy equipment with rigging and material-handling methods.
• Order parts and maintain maintenance records.
• Enter maintenance data using CMMS and keep documentation up to date.
• Adhere to OSHA, safety, and quality standards.
