Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join the Facilities team in Kinston, NC. You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance on plant facilities, machinery, and equipment, applying knowledge of PLC/CNC systems, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.

You will use hand and power tools, work various shifts, and participate in CMMS data entry and parts ordering as required. A strong safety mindset and adherence to PPE requirements are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting electrical schematics and performing routine inspections.
• Willingness to work any shift and operate hand/power tools.
• High school diploma or GED; WorkKeys assessment may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and maintain facilities, machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Operate PLC and CNC systems using blueprints, layouts and wiring diagrams.
• Enter and retrieve data in CMMS and assist with parts orders as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE on site.
