Job summary

Textron, through its Bell subsidiary, offers a Summer Intern position in Aerospace Engineering in Fort Worth. Interns gain hands-on experience on real projects, collaborating with experienced professionals to prepare for a career in aviation.

The program runs for 10 weeks (June 1–August 6, 2027) with mentorship, training, and hands-on responsibilities across airframe design, modeling, and testing activities.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 60 college credit hours by June 1, 2027 or prior Bell internship.
• Able to complete the full 10-week program (June 1–August 6, 2027).
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create airframe structural designs based on trade studies, research, and analysis.
• Create Model-Based Definition with 3D annotations for airframe components and BOM.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, or other staff to resolve problems.
• Respond to data/action requests from procurement, manufacturing, and tooling.
• Execute Tasks to Cost and Schedule requirements.
• Support supplier and teammate design activity.
• Support test activity including test plan development, execution, and reports.
