Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Fort Worth offers a 2027 Summer Intern position in Mechanical Engineering. You'll work on real projects, gaining hands-on experience with tiltrotor systems and advanced CAD/analysis tools like CATIA, ANSYS, and NASTRAN.

Expect mentorship and a 10-week, full-time schedule from June 1 to August 6, 2027. You must be pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (60 credits by start) with a 3.0 GPA, and be able to complete the full internship period.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher with a major in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 60 college credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2027) or prior Bell internship experience.
• Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1- August 6, 2027.
• 3.0 minimum overall, undergraduate GPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to advanced analysis tools (ANSYS, NASTRAN) and component analysis.
• Learn Systems Engineering processes from requirements through verification.
• Design, build, and test a complex vehicle to specific requirements and specifications.
