Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an Associate Engineer to support engineering documentation, supplier communications, engineering changes, and drawing updates. The ideal candidate will have experience with Supplier Requests for Information (SRIs), Change Requests, and redline engineering drawings in an aerospace or engineering environment.

• Experience with engineering documentation and technical drawings.
• Understanding of engineering change processes.
• Experience with Supplier Requests for Information (SRIs) or similar supplier engineering requests.
• Experience reviewing or updating engineering drawings, including redline changes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Rockford, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Review and process Supplier Requests for Information (SRIs).
• Support engineering teams in responding to supplier technical questions and requests.
• Prepare, review, and track engineering Change Requests.
• Review engineering drawings and incorporate approved redline changes.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation and revision history.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, quality, and other cross-functional teams.
• Support engineering change management throughout the product lifecycle.
• Analyze technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and supplier information.
• Ensure engineering changes are properly documented, reviewed, and implemented.
• Participate in engineering reviews and assist with resolving technical issues.
• Maintain compliance with applicable aerospace engineering processes and quality standards.
