Job summary

CFD Research Corporation seeks an experienced aerospace engineer to support R&D at our Engineering Test Center near Huntsville, AL. The role covers conceptual design, prototyping, and testing across Army, Air Force, and Navy programs.

Responsibilities include contributing to hypersonic ground test, propulsion, and flight hardware efforts, collaborating with a growing team of engineers and technicians to advance state-of-the-art capabilities.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
• Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering (or similar STEM discipline) and at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Relevant coursework in fluid mechanics, compressible flow, propulsion, and aerodynamics

Responsibilities

• Conceptual design, prototyping, and testing phases in support of Army, Air Force, and Navy programs
• Work on growing team of engineers and technicians at the Hollywood Engineering Test Center
• Support hypersonic ground test, propulsion, flight hardware projects
