The role involves working in a hybrid environment, tackling challenging design and verification tasks, and collaborating with DoD/FAA authorities to meet certification standards. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field and typically 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• Experience with MIL-HDBK-516 and FAA Certification Standards (14 CFR Part 23/25/27/29).

Responsibilities

• Primary interface with regulatory authorities.
• Provides project management of all certification activities.
• Assists in design and management reviews (PDR, CDR).
• Navigate certification challenges and propose courses of action.
• Reviews supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinates Military approvals.
