Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Structural Engineer III to lead the design, analysis and certification of advanced aerospace and defense structures. You will guide cross-functional teams across design, analysis, and testing to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Civil engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Advanced understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
• Ability to obtain and maintain United States Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and analysis of advanced metallic and composite structures.
• Oversee development and execution of structural test plans.
• Perform detailed structural analysis and identify areas for improvement.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers on structural practices.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
