Job summary

RTX's Pratt & Whitney division in East Hartford, CT is seeking an intern converting to full-time hire after graduation. The role focuses on engineering support for development engine tests, data analysis and test planning across Commercial, Military, and Industrial lines.

It includes rotations in the Engineering Development Program to build breadth and depth in engine systems, controls, instrumentation and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering Science & Technology by start date.
• Experience in a mechanical/aero test environment or engine data analysis.
• Internship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for development engine tests and functional validation across P&W product lines.
• Coordinate test plans, instrumentation, data management and post-test analysis.
• Collaborate with multiple groups to ensure propulsion systems meet requirements.
• Travel to engine test sites; on-site/remote coverage; occasional after-hours work.
