Job summary

RTX is seeking an onsite Engine Component Inspector at our Midland, GA facility to inspect engine parts, verify configurations, and document results for engine builds. You will use precision tools and ensure compliance with requirements throughout the MECOE team’s goals.

The role requires a HS diploma or technical education with 1+ year aviation inspection experience; U.S. citizenship is required. Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS Diploma or equivalent or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• 1+ years’ experience in aviation inspection role
• U.S. Person status is required, as only U.S Persons are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Use a variety of tooling and measurement equipment to inspect engine components to validate proper configuration and compliance with requirements.
• Provide complete and accurate documentation to support Engine Builds.
• Meet production/inspection goals and objectives for the MECOE Team.
• Complete and review technical documentation, including Fits & Clearances, Engine Inspection Reports, and SAP transactions.
• Complete and Review Engine Package documentation.
