Job summary

RTX is seeking an Aircraft Engine Inspector to join our on-site team in Georgia. You will inspect engine components with precision tools, validate configurations, and ensure compliance with project requirements for engine builds.

You will complete and review engine-related documentation, including inspection reports and Fits & Clearances, and support MECOE team production goals. U.S. citizenship is required, with on-site responsibilities and potential A&P license preferences.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires HS Diploma or equivalent or vocational/technical education with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • 1+ years' experience in aviation inspection role
  • U.S. Person status is required

Responsibilities

  • Use a variety of tooling and measurement equipment to inspect engine components to validate proper configuration and compliance with requirements.
  • Provide complete and accurate documentation to support Engine Builds.
  • Meet production/inspection goals and objectives for the MECOE Team.
  • Complete and review technical documentation, including Fits & Clearances, Engine Inspection Reports, and SAP transactions.
  • Complete and Review Engine Package documentation.

What You Will Do

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license, Powerplant License, or 2+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience in Turbine Engine overhaul, inspection and repair, precision measuring tool usage – preferred in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, or Assembly.
  • Ability to identify and resolve configuration and compatibility issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
