Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Jupiter, FL is seeking an Assembly and Test Inspector for the 3rd shift (midnight–7:00am). This onsite role involves using power/tools to inspect engine components and assemblies, following strict procedures and drawings.

Compensation reflects a Labor Grade 5 with paid hours for an 8-hour shift over 6.5 hours worked. You will perform dimensional and visual inspections, verify accuracy with measuring instruments, and document results for nonconformances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing.

Responsibilities

• Use a wide variety of power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly and components.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections following standardized methods and established techniques.
• Work from applicable written inspection procedures and engineering drawings.
• Accept or refer material for rework or quality review based on findings.
• Record results and complete necessary paperwork for nonconformance and disposition.
