Job summary

RTX is seeking an Assembly and Test Inspector at our Product Delivery Center in Jupiter, FL. This 2nd shift role (3:30pm–Midnight) offers a shift differential and requires hands-on use of power tools to inspect engine assemblies and components.

The candidate will read engineering drawings, perform dimensional checks, and determine material status for quality control, with grounding in power-plant mechanics and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing required.
• A&P license preferred.
• Experience reading complicated drawings, specifications, procedures, and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Use power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly and components.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections following established methods.
• Work from inspection procedures and engineering drawings.
• Accept or refer material for rework or quality review based on findings.
• Operate fixed and variable measuring instruments and automated measuring equipment.
