Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks an Engineer Energetics Manufacturing – 2/3 to join our Promontory, UT team. You will contribute to tooling concept development, drawings, inspection requirements, and fabrication support for aerospace applications, in a cross-functional environment.

The role involves cost and schedule control, vendor coordination, and collaboration with tool designers to meet program goals while upholding NG standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in STEM with required experience.
• Ability to evaluate vendor and equipment capability for tooling and aerospace parts.
• Experience with closed form and FE analysis; ANSYS preferred.
• Solid modeling using NX or similar CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Interface with review team to ensure design satisfaction.
• Coordinate procurements and fabrication to meet cost and schedule targets.
• Inspect tooling and hardware for design compliance and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure quality, delivery, and cost goals.
