Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math with 2+ years (BS) or 0+ years (MS) of technical/engineering experience.
• Experience evaluating vendor and equipment capability for tooling and aerospace parts.
• Experience with closed form and FE analysis; ANSYS preferred.
• Solid modeling experience; Siemens NX preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with review team to assure customer satisfaction with design.
• Manage projects and coordinate procurements and fabrication to meet cost and schedule.
• Inspect fabricated support hardware for design compliance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to achieve quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Develop tooling concepts and review manufacturing processes to meet requirements.
• Work with Tool Designers to create final drawings.
• Perform stress analysis to ensure mechanical soundness per NG requirements.
• Review drawings for manufacturability and cost feasibility.
• Support vendors during fabrication and tooling use.
• Assist Operations and Process Engineering in tooling applications.
