Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Software Engineer II for our Moca, Puerto Rico location. You will contribute to design, development, and implementation of software for aerospace applications, reporting to the Space Sr Engineering Manager on‑site.

You will help ensure safety, reliability, and performance of critical systems while working with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality aerospace software components and maintain lifecycle processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Experience with embedded or aerospace software environments
• Strong knowledge of C and C++ and software lifecycle processes
• Familiarity with hardware–software integration and debugging tools
• Experience with real‑time operating systems is desirable

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain software components for aerospace systems per project requirements and standards
• Collaborate with hardware, systems engineers, and QA to ensure integration and high-quality deliverables
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to improve performance and reliability
