Job summary

Real Time Consulting (RTC), a Real Time Companies business, seeks a Business Sales Development Manager for RTC Engineering to drive end-to-end sales from lead generation to close. You will manage a sales team, develop new business contacts, and tailor engineering services for embedded industries, including aerospace.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership, deep engineering knowledge, and a proven track record in delivering programs on time while maintaining client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or other technical area.
• MBA a huge plus.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Established rolodex within Embedded industry a plus.
• Aerospace Industry experience REQUIRED.
• Sales & Business Development experience 5-10 years.
• Proven Customer Relations experience in organic program growth.
• Professional appearance, demeanor and communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face, cold calling, email, and networking.
• Identify, research and expand in new industry options for embedded systems.
• Sell consultatively for professional Engineering Services tailored to the Embedded industry.
• Report and present business development status of activities bi-weekly.
• Develop annual sales plan and understand pricing and proposal models.
• Lead and mentor the sales team to maximize performance.
• Coordinate with program management to transition opportunities to delivery.
