Job summary

PeoplePilot is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design, implement, and refine C++ software for Flight Management Systems and HMI panels in aerospace applications.

You will perform root cause analysis, debug complex code, and work with cross‑functional teams to meet DO-178B/C standards and safety requirements. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering and 3–8 years of embedded experience are expected with strong C++ skills and avionics exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 3–8 years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C++ with experience in FMS or avionics systems.
• Experience with DO-178B/C standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain embedded C++ software for FMS and HMI applications.
• Perform root cause analysis and debugging to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure aerospace standard compliance.
