Job summary

Calista is seeking an assembler to read drawings and assembly instructions, and to build kits with electrical and mechanical components. You will use shop tools to assemble wire harnesses, cables, and related parts, verifying counts, revisions, and workmanship to IPC/WHMA-A-620/610 standards.

The role emphasizes following established processes, data entry, multi-tasking, and a willingness to work with aerospace, aviation, and defense experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Trade School with 2–5 years aerospace, military, defense, manufacturing, Army experience.
• Knowledge of assembling electronic and mechanical hardware; fabrication and assembly tasks.
• Assembler or apprentice experience is a plus.
• Pass drug and background screening; ability to multi-task and follow a process.
• Must obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings and specifications; select parts and verify counts and revisions.
• Assemble kits with correct components, quantities, and workmanship.
• Assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies with shop tools and gauges.
• Record data, verify dimensions, and ensure description accuracy.
• Work independently and with others to complete multiple jobs.
• Adhere to IPC/WHMA-A-620 and 610 standards when assembling.
• Other duties as assigned.
