Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a RTX company, seeks an onsite Electrical/Electronic Maintenance Technician in North Berwick, ME. The role involves maintaining and diagnosing NC/CNC machines and electronic controls, reading schematics, and ensuring safety compliance.

The successful candidate will have a High School diploma or technical certificate and 1+ years in related fields, with U.S. citizenship. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1+ years of related experience in industrial electrical/electronics or completed technical certificate / post-secondary degree in related field.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Professional industrial electrical/electronic experience specializing in machine maintenance, diagnostic skills, NC and CNC machines, and electronic controls.
Professional electrical construction experience (110v outlets, conduit installation, etc.).
Experience interpreting complex electrical/electronic drawings and diagrams.
Experience using various machine and hand tools and checking instruments.
Knowledge of advanced shop mathematics, including applied algebra and geometry.
Competent in Microsoft Office and SAP.
Knowledge of ACE tools.
Completed technical school certificate or degree

Responsibilities

Plan and perform complex electrical/electronic maintenance on equipment and the facility.
Read and interpret electrical/electronic and mechanical diagrams.
Perform industrial electrical / electronic maintenance, diagnosis, and repair on NC and CNC machines, and electronic controls.
Apply the fundamentals of industrial mechanics, including hydraulics and pneumatics, and troubleshoot system problems.
Effectively communicate with tradespeople and vendors.
Apply industrial safety and hazardous materials handling principles.
Manage multiple priorities with flexibility around shifts and overtime.
Must obtain an Industrial Vehicle license to perform related duties.
Must be able to work from heights of up to 20 feet.
