Job summary

Astronics CSC is seeking a procurement leader to oversee daily procurement and materials management for electronic product lines, including LRUs, wireless devices, servers and modems. You will guide the procurement team to ensure material availability, cost control, and on-time delivery for production and customers.

Reporting onsite in Waukegan, IL, you will coordinate with engineering, production, and vendors to optimize supply risk, negotiate pricing, and drive continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or five years procurement experience.
• Minimum five years experience with MRP or ERP systems.
• Experience in aerospace procurement and with electronic commodities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement for electronic product lines including LRU hardware and wireless devices.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet production demand and costs.
• Manage supplier base, negotiate terms, and monitor lead times and quality.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to mitigate supply risks.
