Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Electronic Machine Builder to produce high quality aerospace components. The role involves assembling and inspecting hardware, setting up production areas, and supporting continuous improvement for safety, production, and quality.

This is a 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM) with potential overtime and training on different shifts. The candidate should have a High School Diploma and electronics training, with transcripts or eligibility for

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Two or more classes of progressive electronics training from an accredited college or university. Transcript required or ability to obtain Honeywell training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and/or electronic devices and assemblies per engineering specs, prints, layouts or instructions.
• Check and adjust balance, alignment, tension, spacing, and dimensions; record parameters.
• Use manual and automated mechanical, electrical and optical checking equipment.
• Calculate raw data and calibrate assemblies to meet final specifications.
• Check faulty assemblies with mechanical checking equipment.
• Analyze findings to determine defects and repair methods.
• Disassemble, replace parts, reassemble devices for repairs.
• Perform electronic troubleshooting at the level required by training.
• May assist or instruct other Electro-Mechanical Builders or employees.
