Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electromechanical Assembler in Milwaukie, OR for a contract-to-hire role. You will assemble aerospace-grade power generation components and sensors, build circuit boards, solder components, and follow detailed instructions with an emphasis on quality and safety.

The position follows a four-day, 10-hour day schedule on site, with competitive hourly pay and direct-path potential to permanent employment. Prior experience in technical assembly is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical assembly in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Proficiency with basic soldering for electronic components and wiring.
• Ability to read and understand English to follow written work instructions, drawings and documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, schematics, and blueprints for mechanical and electronic assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Perform production assembly of parts for aerospace power generation devices and sensors.
• Follow work instructions, drawings and schematics to complete mechanical and electronic assembly tasks.
• Build circuit boards according to specifications and quality standards.
• Assemble and solder electronic components and wires using appropriate techniques and tools.
• Carry out mechanical assembly using hand tools, air tools and production machinery.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings and blueprints to ensure correct placement and sequence.
