Job summary

Tomorrow.io is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join a multidisciplinary team responsible for flight-ready hardware production, assembly, inspection, test and integration lifecycle. You will work with avionics, harnessing, and electronics testing, supporting manufacturing flow and quality control.

The role requires 5+ years in aerospace or regulated environments, strong drawing interpretation, and experience with lab equipment and MES systems.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of aerospace or similarly regulated production experience including assembly, inspection and test of subassemblies.
  • Proficient at interpreting technical drawings, PCBA layouts, schematics and BOMs.
  • Familiar with IPC standards, ESD and clean room practices in space hardware handling.
  • Strong time management, documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving inspection of electronic subassemblies and mechanicals.
  • Soldering and rework of electronic/electro-mechanical components.
  • Electrical testing/checkout of PCBA, harnesses and integrated systems.
  • Electro-mechanical assembly of box assemblies.
  • Use of precision tools and torque wrenches to assemble hardware.
  • Wire harness development and lab builds.
  • Apply adhesives, epoxies, and coatings.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to support flow from design to verification.
  • Create and review manufacturing plans and procedures.
  • Interpret electrical/mechanical schematics to execute test procedures.
  • Support product kitting, inventory, and calibration of tooling.
  • Assist Quality Management to ensure procedures and quality standards are met.
