Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer in Mukilteo, WA, to lead development and verification testing for complex mechanical and aerospace systems. You will design test strategies, develop procedures, and support lifecycle activities from concept through production readiness.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, 4–7 years’ testing experience, and proficiency with test instrumentation, SolidWorks, and GD&T. Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required.
• 4–7 years of experience in aerospace/defense testing.
• Experience leading development testing and supporting qualification/verification testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of development and verification testing for mechanical/aerospace systems.
• Design test approaches and strategies to validate product performance against requirements.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and engineering documentation to support development activities.
• Support products through development lifecycle from concept to production readiness.
