RTX Corporation is seeking a Product Development Engineer (PDE) to join our Hardware Engineering Team in Tucson, AZ. The PDE will optimize electronic hardware designs for producibility, provide electrical circuit design and assembly services, and lead projects to meet cycle time, technology, and cost goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related STEM), experience leading cross-functional teams, and the ability to connect multiple engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM by start date.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams or projects with ability to multi-task and establish schedule based on priorities.
• Self-starter that seeks to connect the dots between engineering disciplines and actively reaches out to SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Host and facilitate design reviews with a multi-disciplined team from inception to manufacturing.
• Drive design, procurement and build schedule to meet program need dates.
• Generate drawing notes and review TDP to ensure IPC adherence.
• Perform design for manufacturability analyses.
• BOM development and management.
• Review supplier data and lessons learned to ensure product excellence.
