Aerotek is hiring an Industrial Electrician / Maintenance Technician in El Cajon, CA. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical infrastructure and production equipment within a manufacturing setting.

You will lead upgrades and support new equipment installation to ensure safe, reliable operations across multiple buildings. The position requires strong skills with 440V/480V 3-phase power, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, and NEC/NFPA 70E safety.

Qualificações

• Strong background in industrial electrical repair and installation in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with 440V and 480V 3-phase power systems.
• Proficient with motor controls, VFDs, PLC-controlled equipment, relays, contactors, and control panels.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E safety standards and lockout/tagout.
• Experience using electrical test equipment (multimeters, clamp meters).
• Experience maintaining records in a CMMS environment.
• Ability to plan, upgrade, and execute electrical shutdowns.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility electrical distribution systems including 440V and 480V 3-phase power.
• Repair and support 480V power systems, motor controls, VFDs, PLC-controlled equipment, and control panels.
• Lead electrical upgrades, replacements, and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Plan electrical shutdowns and tie-ins with minimal production disruption.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and one-line drawings.
• Maintain electrical asset records in CMMS and support installations.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans for electrical and production equipment.
