Job summary

Protingent Staffing has an exciting direct hire Electrical Engineer opportunity in Hood River, OR. You will design, analyze, and document analog, digital, and power electronic circuits for aerospace applications, and perform PCB layout with Altium Designer.

You will prepare detailed design documentation, support prototype bring-up and testing, and participate in design reviews to ensure IPC compliance and proper integration with mechanical and software systems. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of engineering theories and practices to resolve issues.
• Knowledge of processes, procedures, technology or software.
• 3-5 years in a developmental engineering environment.
• Physically able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and document analog, digital, and power electronic circuits for aerospace applications.
• Perform schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer.
• Prepare and maintain design documentation including BOMs and fabrication packages.
• Support prototype assembly, bring-up, and testing.
• Troubleshoot, perform root-cause analyses on prototypes and RMAs.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure adherence to IPC and internal standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration with mechanical and software systems.
• Serve as liaison between engineering, procurement, and vendors.
• Respond to fabrication/drawing questions and support DFM reviews.
• Maintain organized design records and configuration control.
