Job summary

Matter Intelligence is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer in El Segundo, CA to design, analyze, test, and integrate complex electronic hardware for advanced sensing platforms. You will own PCB development from schematic through bring-up, validation, and subsystem integration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of PCB and circuit design experience.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic capture and layout.
• Familiarity with IPC standards and environmental considerations.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PCBs and electronic subsystems for advanced sensing platforms.
• Own schematics, layout guidance, components, and board-level integration using Altium.
• Perform circuit simulation and worst-case analysis; validate hardware.
• Support design reviews, testing, and integration with cross-functional teams.
• Create engineering documentation and work with suppliers during fabrication.
