Astronics is seeking an Electrical Engineer II in Clackamas, OR to join our team developing and supporting advanced aerospace products. You will design analog and digital circuits, manage BOMs, and lead design reviews while collaborating with multiple engineering groups and customers.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, documentation, and the ability to present technical information. Aerospace DO-160/178/254 knowledge is a plus, and the position requires strong communication and teamwork.

Qualificações

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering plus five years of related experience.
• Hands on product development experience, including documentation, BOM management, change management, and hand off to production.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Written and verbal communication skills; aerospace experience is desirable but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform conceptual and detail design of analog and digital circuits, including power supplies and FPGA/microcontroller ICs.
• Prepare designs for review, analysis, and testing to ensure design accuracy.
• Manage PCB/PCBA configuration, part numbers, BOMs, version control, and libraries.
• Operate lab equipment to verify designs and perform circuit testing.
• Present technical information at design reviews and coordinate with customers/sales.
