This position emphasizes circuit board design, microprocessor/FPGA architectures, DO-160/DO-254 compliance, and hands-on testing in a lab environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM major and enrolled through the internship/co-op session.
• Experience in a lab environment performing hands on troubleshooting with engineering test equipment.
• Experience with schematic capture of digital/analog mixed-signal circuit designs.
• Experience with computer hardware architecture, components, and design characteristics.

Responsibilities

• You will support products at all phases of the product lifecycle (design & development, transition to production, factory support, service support).
• You will support circuit board designs involving complex microprocessor and FPGA architectures including schematic capture, part selection, simulation, and troubleshooting activities.
• You will obsolescence resolution activities.
• You will implement/support designs that are optimized for a balance of cost, manufacturability and testability.
• You will implement/support designs that are in strict compliance with DO-160 and DO-254 standards.
