Job summary

RTX is seeking an aspiring Electrical Engineer for Components Engineering in the Parts, Libraries, and Obsolescence Department. The role supports circuit card design from development through production, focusing on selecting robust, cost-effective electrical components.

This onsite opportunity in Tucson requires pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field, with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM and enrolled through the internship/co-op session.
• Experience in circuit design, circuit analysis, or PCB design.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Support Component Engineering for circuit card design, selecting cost-effective and robust parts.
• Interface with internal stakeholders and suppliers to develop component risk and verification data packages.
• Assist through all phases from development to production and present findings in design reviews.
