Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Electronics Assembler to join our Fort Bliss facility. Onsite role requiring ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. You will assemble and repair electronic units, read drawings, and collaborate with engineering and QA teams to ensure quality.

Qualified candidates have a HS diploma or GED and at least 1 year in electronic assembly, with IPC certification preferred. Relocation is not provided; onsite work expected.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience.
• Experience with electronic assembly (soldering/rework and cable assemblies).

Responsibilities

• Assemble and repair a variety of electronic units using prescribed repair techniques.
• Solder electronic components using industry-standard techniques and tools.
• Remove and replace components with accuracy.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, part lists, and/or work instructions.
• Support production/rework/repair of various product lines including electronics box assemblies, RF electronics, and more.
• Measure, mix, and apply chemicals according to safety and operational guidelines.
• Communicate work status to team members and support staff, ensuring seamless workflow.
• Document clear and concisely and maintain accurate records.
