Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an assembler for mechanical/electro-mechanical work in Phoenix, AZ. You will assemble electronic units, inspect parts, and perform tests in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role includes training on 1st/2nd shift before moving to 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 10pm–6:30am). Requires a HS diploma or GED and 4+ years in electronic assembly or related field.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED (US) or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in electronic assembly.
• Experience in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic units and identify correct parts/materials.
• Performs repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations on component parts, sub-assemblies or completed units across multiple areas of the organization.
• Monitors the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
• Maintains accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.
• Performs final tests as necessary
• 3rd Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6:30am; training on 1st or 2nd Shift for up to 3 months, then transition to 3rd Shift.
