Job summary

RTX is seeking a Digital Hardware Design Engineer to collaborate across Systems, Software, Mechanical, and Manufacturing to deliver high‑reliability avionics hardware. You will design and test circuit boards, analyze performance, and ensure thermal management and testability meet strict requirements.

The role requires a BSEE/CE or related STEM degree and experience with schematic capture and PCB design processes. Onsite in Cedar Rapids, salary range disclosed, with standard RTX benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer or related STEM field.
• Familiarity with electronic circuit design and multi-assembly systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate and test Circuit Card Assemblies for Avionics Computers.
• Operate lab equipment for integration testing of hardware designs.
• Schematic capture of digital/analog mixed-signal circuits.
