Job summary

The Lincoln Electric Company (D/B/A Baker Industries) seeks an experienced estimator to prepare cost and timing estimates for aerospace opportunities. You will translate conceptual designs into manufacturing processes, understand aerospace design tools, and communicate with the Sales and Estimation teams to progress proposals.

This on-site role requires travel up to 10% and adherence to ITAR requirements. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree (preferred), 10 years in aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 10 years’ experience in Aerospace Design and Applications environment
• Must have understanding of Aerospace applications and uses
• Strong time management and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate/manage quote data requests on a daily basis
• Prepare accurate cost and timing estimates from conceptual designs through manufacturing processes
• Communicate proposal status to Sales/Estimation/Marketing
• Ensure compliance with safety, ITAR, and export controls
• Travel up to 10% to customer facilities
