Job summary
Echo Design and Integration LLC seeks an experienced estimator/production planner to support project teams in developing estimates, routings, BOMs, and work instructions for manufactured parts and assemblies in a space and commercial aerospace environment.
You will gather cost data, review specifications, and coordinate with engineering, quality, purchasing, and shop personnel to ensure accurate, timely quotes and production readiness.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical training or equivalent manufacturing experience.
- Experience preparing detailed estimates, routings, BOMs, job travelers and work instructions.
- Experience with JobBOSS or another manufacturing ERP/MRP system.
- Solid MS Excel skills for cost worksheets and estimating reporting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates, production plans, and job documentation for manufactured parts and assemblies.
- Review customer requirements and gather cost and process information for production readiness.
- Follow AS9100/ISO 9001 procedures and coordinate with engineering, quality, purchasing and shop personnel.
- Review RFQs, drawings, specifications and BOMs to assemble draft estimates and quotes.
- Maintain quote history, planning files, and estimated-versus-actual costs.
