Job summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking an experienced Estimator within its Sales and Estimation Team to deliver accurate cost and timing estimates for aerospace opportunities. The role requires understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, cost drivers, and regulatory requirements, with on-site collaboration at customer facilities and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities include coordinating quote data, supporting design requests, and communicating with Sales/Estimating/Marketing while driving process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in aerospace or related field.
• 10 years’ experience in Aerospace Design and Applications environment.
• Strong proficiency with 3D modeling tools (UG/NX, CREO, CATIA or SolidWorks).
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T, and manage prints/revisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate/manage quote data requests on a daily basis.
• Support concept design requests for related opportunities.
• Communicate with Sales/Estimating/Marketing on data for proposals.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues impacting progress.
• Travel up to 10% to customer sites as needed.
