Job summary

As a 100% onsite position, the candidate should have 1–2 years of assembly experience, a valid high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read English; a mechanical aptitude test may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years mechanical assembly experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pass a mechanical aptitude test may be required.
• Must be able to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Align and fit sub and structural assemblies by installing and connecting parts, fittings and assemblies.
• Install fasteners such as bolts, screws, rivets, rivnuts, helicoils, keenserts and adhesives.
• Use basic hand tools to assemble parts and subassemblies.
• Set up, operate, and maintain drilling and riveting equipment.
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine layouts and sequences of operations.
• Ensure quality by performing checks and following non-conformance procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report defects promptly.
